Thank you Hawthorn Brewing Company the flavour merchants for a fearsome rich Premium Pale Ale, the perfect way to enjoy some pre dinner snacks on a Hot Saturday Night.
It is definitely a favourite of ours on a hot night to sit out and enjoy the view of our magnificent city and enjoy a few bevies, not to mention a perfectly cooked Eye Fillet served with fresh Greek salad. Sometimes its nicer to have dinner at home with friends and colleagues rather than going out to a restaurant.
One of our guests turned up with a truly fabulous 2010 Shiraz – Paradox by Yalumba. Once again the Barossa Region never fails to disappoint with big powerful wines. This wine was deliciously all things dark… dark label, dark bottle, black fruity flavours and even a hint of black licorice. We are tempted to buy a few more to pop in the wine closet hmmmm then again maybe we could pop another cork next week.
If only there were more Saturdays in the week LOL
