Wintery weekend in the Yarra Valley

Always a good time for wine

Spending a wintery weekend away at Chateau Yerring in the beautiful  Yarra Valley, with a mission to ensure no local cheese or wine is left untasted!!!

Dinner at Eleanor’s restaurant was  superb but our night was made when the waiter suggested the  Serrat Voignier to accompany our meal.

Making stops at the Yarra Valley Dairy for a cheese platter featuring chef selected cheeses accompanied with local relishes and bread.

The Hargreaves pub is a must for the locally brewed beer with generous serves of fresh pasta however, if you fail to order a side of chat potatoes your missing out.

As you can see we didn’t leave empty handed…..
